The operator runs this Kakadu day for a small group in a comfortable vehicle with regular stops, iced water, snacks and lunch provided, and it picks you up from your Darwin accommodation.

Inside the park, your guide leads and interprets a walk through the Ubirr rock art galleries, some of the oldest in the world, then up to the Nadab lookout for views over the floodplains towards Arnhem Land. Next is the Guluyambi Cultural Cruise on the East Alligator River, a relaxed, interactive trip where you learn about the area and its culture through the eyes of the Traditional Owners, with a stop to step out into Arnhem Land.

This listing runs in the dry season, May to October. If conditions force the wet season plan, the day swaps to the Nourlangie Rock galleries and the Yellow Waters Billabong Cruise at no change in price (the operator says wet season typically runs October to March). Your Kakadu park entry ticket is not included: you buy it online in advance, payable to Parks Australia, and the operator can also stop on the morning to buy it.
