Resumen

Byron Bay's dolphins live here year-round, and the best seat for meeting them is a sea kayak at water level, close enough to hear the exhale when they surface. This tour launches through the surf at Clarks Beach and follows the coastline out to Cape Byron, Australia's most easterly point, with the pod's favourite haunt at Wategos Beach along the way.

The wildlife maths is generous: dolphins and turtles are regulars, whales cruise past from May to November, and the operator backs it with a genuine guarantee, no dolphin or whale sighting, and you come back free. The return leg adds the adrenaline course: kayak surfing Byron's famous waves back to the beach, which is exactly as fun and as dignified as it sounds.
