Resumen

This is the Thailand trip you'd plan yourself if you had the patience: Bangkok first, then down the Andaman side, across the jungle, and up the Gulf islands, with the group and the transfers already arranged.

Bangkok gives you a welcome dinner, a night out, Wat Arun and Wat Pho by canal and a tuk-tuk home. Then it's a flight to Phuket and a night on Bangla Road, the ferry to Phi Phi for viewpoint sunsets and a full day island hopping through Pi Leh Lagoon, Monkey Bay and Bamboo Island, and on to Ao Nang for the Hong Island day with its new viewpoint.

The second week slows down and goes green: a floating bungalow on Khao Sok Lake with kayaks and a dawn lake safari, then Koh Samui for the Ang Thong Marine Park day and a free day, and finally the catamaran to Koh Tao for a snorkelling tour around Nang Yuan's sandbar and a last free day before it all ends on day fifteen.

See Bangkok from a local angle: wander peaceful temple grounds, cruise the historic canals and learn about Thai culture and traditions. Visit Wat Arun and Wat Pho, two of the country's most iconic temples, then take a tuk-tuk ride back. The rest of the day is yours for markets, shopping, or the bars and street food around Khao San.

3 Day 3 · Fly to Phuket

4 Day 4 · Phuket to Koh Phi Phi

Cross the Andaman Sea to Koh Phi Phi, one of Thailand's most celebrated islands. Wander the narrow beachside streets, grab a fruit shake, or hike to the Phi Phi Viewpoint for a sunset to remember. Nights here mean beach parties, fire shows and dancing under the stars.

A full day of island-hopping and snorkelling around Phi Phi's legendary bays and limestone cliffs.
