Resumen

There's something correct about arriving at the Great Barrier Reef under sail, and this 25-metre high-performance catamaran does it daily from Cairns, splitting the day across two distinct outer reef locations where turtles graze over the coral gardens.

The water time comes fully equipped: brand-new snorkelling gear for everyone, plus a free guided snorkel tour led by the crew, with an Eco-accredited marine naturalist running presentations on the coral and marine life so the reef makes sense rather than just sparkling. Scuba diving is available as an add-on for those who want to get under it.

Between swims, the boat is the destination: a chef-prepared tropical buffet lunch of hot and cold dishes with fresh fruit, morning and afternoon tea, a stylish upper deck for the loungers, and the netted trampoline at the bow, the single best napping surface in North Queensland. Note hotel transfers are an extra, payable at check-in.

"Wow what an amazing day! The experience was fantastic start to finish. Check in and being allocated equipment was a breeze… pre-snorkel briefings were clear… the snorkel itself was amazing, with the crew watching over us both in the water and from the boat - felt safe and looked after at all times. The boat was at full capacity but at no point felt a squeeze."
