Overview

Hike & Seek leaves Melbourne in a small group of 4 to 11 and drives straight to the 12 Apostles, taking a 1km boardwalk stroll before the crowds arrive. Next is Gibson Steps, down a 70m cliffside path to the beach.

After lunch at a local cafe (around $35, not included), the tour drives through the Great Otway National Park for a short Grade 2 hike through ancient rainforest to a waterfall, then walks among the Californian Redwoods. The way home passes Apollo Bay, Kennett River for wild koalas, king parrots and kangaroos, and a stop in Lorne.

Snacks, rain ponchos and first aid are provided. Hotel pick-up is not included. Wear trainers or hiking boots and bring a 1L water bottle and warm layers.
