Overview

Bunyip Tours leaves from the corner of Market and Flinders streets in the afternoon, so you can have the morning to yourself, and drives straight to Phillip Island. The first stop is the Nobbies Centre and Seal Rocks for a boardwalk walk with views back to the Mornington Peninsula.

Just before sunset the group takes spots on the beach for the Penguin Parade, where hundreds of little penguins come in from the sea and waddle up the sand to their burrows. Standard viewing is included. There is no hotel pick-up or drop-off, and food is not included. There is an optional upgrade to Penguin Plus at the time of booking.

"It’s a good tour. … It’s so funny to see the penguins walking back to their homes. We had also the opportunity to see other wild animals."
