1 Day 1 · Arrive in Hanoi
Arrive in Hanoi and meet your group and your tour leader, settle in before your first night out together as the adventure begins.
2 Day 2 · Discover Hanoi
You'll jump straight into the hustle and bustle of Hanoi today with a walking and rickshaw tour of the city. Soak in daily life in the chaotic capital and fill up on spicy spring rolls and tasty street food. This evening you'll be heading out for dinner and drinks to see what Hanoi has to offer after dark.
3 Day 3 · Ha Long Bay overnight boat
From Hanoi you'll travel to Ha Long Bay, where you'll cruise the emerald green waters surrounded by limestone mountains, feeling like you're not quite on this planet. The secret caves and coves will prove too much to resist, so you'll jump into kayaks to explore further before settling down for the evening on the overnight boat complete with hot tub and bar.
4 Day 4 · Ninh Binh homestay
Your tour leader shares the detail and the best local options on the day.
5 Day 5 · Bikes, row boats & Dragon Mountain
You'll hop on two wheels to weave through rice paddies before taking a local rowboat through a network of rivers and caves. A hike up to Dragon Mountain viewpoint will reward you with great views! You'll then board the surprisingly comfortable overnight train bound for Hoi An.
6 Day 6 · Explore Hoi An
Beautiful, historical Hoi An will win you over in an instant as you arrive this morning. You'll check in to the hotel, then this afternoon you'll have time to explore, go shopping, or perhaps visit a local tailor to get a custom suit or dress made
7 Day 7 · Basket boats & cooking class
Locals will be your guides today as you weave through the coconut groves by basket boat. You'll then take part in a hands-on cooking class to become masters of all things Vietnamese cuisine.
8 Day 8 · Lantern making class & beach club
Today you'll get creative and try your hand at making one of Vietnam's most iconic souvenirs - a beautiful handmade lantern! Later, you'll head to the coast for a relaxed beach afternoon, where you can unwind by the sea, swim, or simply soak up the atmosphere. You'll also stop for lunch at a cool beach club, the perfect spot to enjoy good food, refreshing drinks, and ocean views.
9 Day 9 · Check out & onward travel
Your 9 day trip will end today. Those flying home will make their way to the airport, or keep living the dream and extend your stay in Vietnam or South East Asia with your tour leader's help and the new friends you've made.
