Overview

'All inclusive' gets thrown around loosely in the tour world. This one means it: entry to Featherdale Wildlife Park or Sydney Zoo, all four Scenic World experiences, Railway, Skyway, Cableway and Walkway, a chef-prepared lunch, and the river cruise back to Circular Quay. You board with your wallet and never open it.

The small-group format (12 to 20 passengers) is the other half of the pitch. Instead of following the coach herd, you're taken on a guided short walk to a magnificent lookout the big vehicles can't reach, with the Three Sisters served from angles that don't have a hundred phones in frame.

Courtesy pickup runs from selected city hotels, and the day ends the civilised way, gliding back into Circular Quay by boat while the motorway traffic does its thing without you. Eleven hours, everything handled, no surprise extras at any counter.

"Following the 3 Sisters, we headed to Featherdale Wildlife Sanctuary and visited and fed many of the native Australian animals—wallabies, kangaroos, wombats, emus and other amazing animals and birds. The highlight was the koalas, for us."
