Overview

Fifty full minutes on the water, not a quick lap and back. You leave from Cavill Avenue in the middle of Surfers Paradise aboard a New Zealand-built jet boat, music on, skipper at the wheel.

The ride runs from the Nerang River out across the Broadwater, where the freestyle zone is for 360° spins, slides and drifts, then up into Moreton Bay Marine Park. Keep an eye out near Wave Break Island and South Stradbroke Island: sea birds, dolphins and even wallabies turn up there. The skipper keeps the commentary going between spins.
