Overview

Poseidon is a 24-metre catamaran built for dive and snorkel trips, with freshwater showers, an air-conditioned saloon and open decks. It leaves the Reef Marina at 8.30am and stops at three sites on Agincourt Reef, with a hot and cold buffet lunch at the second site and afternoon tea at the third. Back at the marina about 4.30pm.

Unlimited snorkelling is included with mask, snorkel, fins, lycra suit and flotation devices, plus a reef interpretation talk. Certified and introductory divers can book dives separately. Poseidon also holds a special permit to swim with dwarf minke whales.

A fuel surcharge of $10 per adult and $5 per child is collected at check-in on the day. Bring a camera (no drones), swimmers, a towel, a hat and sunscreen.
