Overview

Go Ride A Wave teaches beginners in waist-deep water on a patrolled beach with warm water. A safety briefing covers surf basics before you get on a soft beginner board and learn to paddle, catch waves and stand up, with instruction to suit your level.

The soft board, leg-rope and a wetsuit or rash shirt (depending on the time of year) are included. Arrive 15 minutes before the start; late arrivals who miss the safety briefing cannot join. Sessions run daily at 10am and 1pm. Bring bathers and a towel.
