Overview

The Progressive Course from Go Ride A Wave covers paddling, catching waves, popping up straight to your feet and surf etiquette across three 2-hour lessons, with feedback from an instructor each time. It is aimed at beginners wanting to surf independently and at intermediates wanting personalised feedback.

Twelve online surf theory modules come with the course. A soft beginner board, leg-rope and full-length wetsuit are supplied. Book the first lesson you want to attend when signing up. Arrive 15 minutes early and bring bathers and a towel.
