Overview

Southern Cross Tours starts with an early walk through Coombabah Conservation Park, where kangaroos are often resting in the open and koalas can be spotted high in the gum trees. Then it is up Tamborine Mountain for morning tea at a historic mountaintop restaurant with views across the Scenic Rim.

A guided rainforest walk takes you down to Curtis Falls, then there is free time on Gallery Walk, the centre of the mountain's art and craft scene, to browse and buy lunch (not included). The guide shares insights on Indigenous heritage, wildlife and ecology throughout.

Return transport from selected Gold Coast hotels is included. Wear enclosed walking shoes for the rainforest walk and bring a light jacket, as the mountain air is cooler.
