What the 9-day price buys
The Bali Adventure, 9 Days Canggu to Gili T from $1,299 covers eight nights: three in a Canggu hotel (twin or double rooms with ensuite, air con and a pool), two in a Lovina villa (multishare ensuite rooms and a pool) and three in a Gili T guesthouse on the beach (twin, double or triple rooms with ensuite and air con).
The activities are paid for before you land: a surf lesson with local instructors, temple visits, a Canang Sari offering-making class, a Bahasa Indonesian lesson, a visit to a local Balinese family, basket weaving, waterfall swims, a coffee plantation and rice paddies, a bicycle loop of Gili T, a boat trip around the Gili Islands and an island party. Transport between every stop, including the boat to Gili T, is in the price, and a group leader is with you from the airport pickup.
What the 12-day adds
The Bali Adventure, 12 Days Canggu to Ubud from $1,799 runs the same first eight days, then adds three nights in an Ubud hotel (garden setting, pool, bar and spa), a sunrise volcano trek, a traditional Balinese massage and three more meals. The surf and stay option
The Canggu surf and stays are surf camps, not guided tours. You make your own way to the hostel, sleep in shared accommodation, get breakfast every morning and one surf lesson a day with boards and gear supplied:
