You ride 250cc sports quad bikes around a private adventure area above Queenstown, on purpose-built dirt tracks with hill climbs, descents and creek crossings. From the high points you get panoramic views over the Shotover River and Lake Wakatipu.
It starts with a safety briefing and hands-on training in a dedicated practice area, so you are confident before you hit the tracks. Routes are adjusted to suit each rider's ability, so first-timers and confident riders both get a proper ride. The guided ride runs for 1 hour, and the whole experience takes about 1.5 hours.
Return transfers from central Queenstown are included, along with helmets, eye protection and gloves. Wet weather gear and boots are provided if required, and complimentary photos are taken. Drinks and snacks are not included.
