This is the Top End in a day: a boat on the Adelaide River, a World Heritage national park and some of the oldest rock art on earth. You are collected from selected Darwin inner-city pick-up points and travel in an air-conditioned mini coach with an accredited outback driver-guide (the group is capped at 23).
The day opens with the one-hour Jumping Crocodile Cruise on the Adelaide River, where big saltwater crocodiles launch out of the water beside the boat. From there it's lunch at Corroboree Park Tavern (at your own cost), the Bowali Visitor Centre for an introduction to Kakadu's culture and wildlife, and Cahills Crossing on the Arnhem Land border, where you look for crocodiles from a viewing spot, conditions permitting.
The last stop is Ubirr, with a guided walk through the rock art galleries and a view over the Nadab floodplain. If Ubirr is closed, the guide swaps in Nourlangie Rock (Burrungkuy). Itineraries can shift between November and April with rain and road conditions. You are back at your Darwin accommodation that evening.

"The jumping croc cruise was great, seen plenty of crocodile and hawks. Kakadu was excellent seeing the old rock art and just getting to see the natural landscape. Definitely recommend this tour, great day out."
