Same Kakadu day, with the croc cruise in the morning. You travel from Darwin in an air-conditioned mini coach with an experienced guide, covering about 620km with regular photo stops and around 2km of walking.
The day opens with a one-hour Jumping Crocodile Cruise on the Adelaide River, where huge saltwater crocodiles launch themselves out of the water beside the boat. Then it's lunch at Corroboree Park Tavern (at your own cost), the Bowali Visitor Centre for Aboriginal art and an introduction to the park, and Cahills Crossing, a well-known crocodile-spotting place on the Arnhem Land border, conditions permitting.
The last stop is Ubirr Rock, with a guided walk through the galleries and views across the floodplains. If Ubirr is inaccessible the guide visits Nourlangie Rock instead. Between November and April the itinerary may change with rain and road conditions.

Public reviews of the operator who runs this tour on the ground.
"Glad we did this tour as it showed us something incredibly different. Cahills Crossing was jaw dropping at the size of the crocs and the amount there. Ubirr was really cool seeing the rock art."
