Overview

This is the on-island version of the island's most popular day tour, for travellers who are already staying on Kangaroo Island (it does not include the ferry from the mainland; the Adelaide departure is a separate listing). You're picked up in the morning at the Aurora Ozone Hotel in Kingscote and dropped back there in the evening, about 8 hours later, in a group of up to 20.

The day starts with a guided beach walk at Seal Bay Conservation Park, where wild Australian sea lions laze and play on the sand. After a two-course lunch you tour Flinders Chase National Park, including Remarkable Rocks and Admirals Arch, and finish at Kangaroo Island Wildlife Park with koalas and kangaroos. Your driver-guide gives commentary throughout.
