Gnarly Surf Tours teaches beginners in small groups at Agnes Water, where the water is warm and stingers are rare. A 4x4 takes you to a private beach, and the instructors cover the basics then get you into the waves.
A board, rash vest and GoPro photos are included. The tour starts at Cool Bananas Backpackers in 1770, and you should check the start time with the operator the day before. Bring water, a towel and sunscreen.
