Overview

Plenty of travellers fly into Alice Springs, and without a car the 450km to Uluru is the hard part. This coach transfer covers it, one way, in either direction.

Heading to Uluru, you're collected early morning from your Alice Springs accommodation and arrive at the Outback Pioneer Hotel at Ayers Rock Resort around 11:35am (March to October) or 12:35pm (November to February). Heading back, the coach leaves the Outback Pioneer Hotel after sunset, at a set time for each part of the year that you choose at checkout, and drops you at your Alice Springs accommodation around midnight to 1am.

The coach is air-conditioned with an onboard toilet. It runs set days each week: to Ayers Rock on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays from April to October (Wednesdays and Saturdays November to March), and back to Alice on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays from April to October (Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays November to March).

    Day tours and Uluru transfers: cancel 4 or more days before departure for a refund less a $20 admin fee. Within 3 days of departure the booking is non-refundable, but the amount is kept as a credit valid until the end of the current season (seasons run 1 April to 31 March). You can change your date once at no extra cost outside that 3-day window, subject to availability. If the operator cancels because of weather or other events outside its control, you are offered another date or a refund less any unrecoverable costs.
