Cheapest way to see Uluru in one day
The Uluru Sunset Day Tour from Ayers Rock Resort is from $329 and takes about six hours. It includes the Cultural Centre, the Mala Walk, Mutitjulu Waterhole and a sunset dinner. The Alice Springs return version is a 7am pick-up that gets back after midnight and costs more. The national park pass is extra on the day tour (our listing puts it at $38).
You can also get there by coach. The Alice Springs to Ayers Rock Resort Coach is $269 each way. Add the coach both ways, the day tour, the park pass and a night at Yulara, and you’ve passed the price of the 4-day tour without seeing Kata Tjuta or Kings Canyon.
