Overview

Every Whitsundays fleet has one boat everyone's heard about before they arrive. Atlantic Clipper is that boat: a tall ship that sits high and handsome on the water, carrying up to 54 people aged 18–39 and equipped like someone designed it after a very good party. Twelve-person hot spa. Two waterslides, one of them eight metres. A six-metre dive platform for the brave and the peer-pressured.

Underneath the fun hardware it's a proper Whitsundays trip: two days and two nights among the islands, Whitehaven Beach on the itinerary, snorkelling with stinger suits and gear included, and certified or intro scuba diving available if you want depth. All meals are freshly prepared with dietaries on request, cabins run two to four berths across 21 rooms, and there's air-con and hot showers to keep it civilised.

BYO drinks live in a massive walk-in cold room, bring cans, bring a good playlist, and expect to leave with 50 new contacts.

"They took us to bays which were amazing full of sea life and even had sharks by our boat at night. … took us to Whitehaven beach early, which was the best decision. By 10am it was absolutely packed and would’ve ruined the experience."
