Overview

Got a long weekend or a Nadi stopover? This is the fast version of island Fiji. The catamaran leaves Port Denarau at 8.45am and your first stop is South Sea Island, a speck of white sand in the Mamanucas you can walk around in five minutes, with reef right off the beach. Next morning you ride north into the Yasawas to Kuata, the gateway island, for a guided reef-shark snorkel and a scramble up the summit trail for sunset. On day three the ferry carries you back to Denarau by late afternoon.

Beds, every ferry leg and your Nadi hotel pickups are in one booking, and our concierge sets each reservation. Dorms are social and most guests travel solo, so you won't be eating alone.

1 Day 1 · South Sea Island (day 1)

Hotel pickup in Nadi or Denarau, then the 8.45am catamaran out to South Sea Island. Snorkel off the beach, kayak or paddleboard, and watch the sunset from a tiny sand cay.

2 Day 2 · Kuata (day 2)

Ride north into the Yasawas to Kuata. Reef-shark snorkel with a guide in the afternoon, then the summit trail for sunset views across the chain.

3 Day 3 · Back to Denarau (day 3)

A slow morning in the water before the southbound ferry. Back at Port Denarau late afternoon and dropped at your Nadi hotel.

  • Are meals included?
    No. Island resorts run compulsory meal plans, paid on arrival at each island, because they're the only place to eat. Budget in Fijian dollars and bring a card plus cash.

  • Is there a fuel surcharge?
    Yes. The ferry operator sets it monthly, currently FJ$20 per person, paid locally before you board.

  • Can I add nights?
    Yes. Tell the concierge and we'll extend at either island or add more of the Yasawas.

  • How do you confirm the booking?
    Island beds are confirmed on request; our concierge confirms every component within 48 hours. If we can't confirm your dates, you don't pay for it.

  • What's the cancellation policy?
