Overview

The Wanderer heads for the far north of the Yasawa chain, the part most island hoppers never reach. It sails from Port Denarau at midday every Monday on a small ship with 22 cabins, each with its own bathroom, air-con and a window.

You spend a day at Blue Lagoon with volleyball, snorkelling and a Fijian feast night. Then comes a guided walk to Lo's Tea House, the limestone caves of Sawa-i-Lau and a village visit. The last full day is at Drawaqa, where manta rays feed in the channel from May to October. Breakfast comes with sparkling wine, all meals are included, and so are the snorkel gear, kayaks, paddleboards, excursions and Wi-Fi. You're back at Port Denarau by 10am on Friday.

Both are about 14.5 square metres with a queen or twin beds, air-con, an ocean-view window and their own bathroom. Orchid cabins have larger windows and cost a bit more; the two Hibiscus cabins are on the middle deck, Orchid cabins on the middle and main decks.
