Sailing purists can keep their winches. Powerplay is the fast, air-conditioned way around the Whitsundays, a powered catamaran that spends less time in transit and more time at the good bits, with a heated jacuzzi on deck for golden hour and private cabins waiting below.
The two days and two nights cover the region's podium finishers: Whitehaven Beach, the Hill Inlet lookout, and snorkelling the reefs with wetsuits, stinger suits and all equipment included. Stand-up paddleboards come out at anchor, sunrises and sunsets come out on schedule, and freshly prepared meals plus morning and afternoon tea keep the galley busy. Two toilets and showers, linen and bath towels included, this is the trip for people who want the islands without the roughing-it.
It's capped at 16 guests, which keeps the jacuzzi maths friendly. BYO drinks and a beach towel; comfort's already aboard.

Meet at Coral Sea Marina for a 3pm departure. Welcome snacks of biscuits and fresh fruit are waiting, then you head for your first snorkel at one of several sites in the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park. As the sun sets, enjoy a sunset snack and dinner on board, then the heated spa (six people at a time) or the bow nets. After dark, the underwater blue lights draw in the marine life.
Wake up to breakfast, morning tea and more snorkelling at reef sites. Then take the guided walk to Hill Inlet lookout and spend time exploring Whitehaven Beach, with stand-up paddleboards available. Sunset snacks and a group dinner finish the day on board.
Breakfast on deck, then a relaxed sail back to Coral Sea Marina, arriving at about midday.

Review excerpts below are from Tripadvisor.
"They took us to bays which were amazing full of sea life and even had sharks by our boat at night. … took us to Whitehaven beach early, which was the best decision. By 10am it was absolutely packed and would’ve ruined the experience."

Tripadvisor review
"The crew was great and took us to the best spots navigating the challenging weather. … We saw heaps of wildlife including sea turtles, manta rays and George the famous Humphead of Manta Ray Bay."

Tripadvisor review
"Great two days spent on the water! … We got to see whales, sharks, sting rays, and tons of fish. All the food was good and there was plenty of it."
