Overview

Tasmania's three big sights in three days, with a small group (max 20) and a guide for each day. You sleep in Hobart for the first two nights and Launceston for the last two, accommodation booked by you, and the tour picks up and drops off at selected central hotels and hostels each day.

Day one starts in Hobart at 7.30am for the Tasman Peninsula: the Waterfall Bay cliff top walk, Tasman Arch, Devils Kitchen, the Tasmanian Devil Unzoo and a devil feeding, Port Arthur Historic Site with its harbour cruise and guided walk, and the village of Richmond. Day two drives the east coast to Freycinet National Park for the walk up to the Wineglass Bay lookout (or down to the beach for keen walkers), then Honeymoon Bay, Cape Tourville and Devil's Corner Winery, ending in Launceston around 6pm (bring your bags). Day three is Cradle Mountain: Sheffield's murals, Pencil Pine Falls, and the Dove Lake circuit or the harder climb to Marion's Lookout.

All entry fees are included. Meals aren't, but each day has a stop to buy lunch, and you can bring your own. You can bring one large bag on day two and a day pack on the other days.
