Overview

Most island boats are back at Port Denarau in the early evening, and a lot of flights home leave the next day. This pack covers that gap. A coach meets the boat at Port Denarau and takes you to The Palms Denarau, you sleep, and a shared transfer runs you to Nadi International Airport for your flight.

The Palms Denarau is on Denarau Island, directly opposite Port Denarau where the island boats leave. Apartment-style rooms on Denarau, the resort strip next to the marina. It suits groups and couples who want space, an apartment and the shortest possible walk to the ferry. Rooms on offer: Guest rooms with their own bathroom and air-con, plus one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments.

'Moce' (mo-they) is Fijian for goodbye. Book this before you head out to the islands so the last day of the trip is already sorted. The pack is one night; extra nights on the mainland can be added on request.

    The courtesy coach meets the returning island boats; the main Yasawa boat is back at Port Denarau around 6pm. Go straight to your allocated coach once you've collected your luggage.

  • What time is the airport transfer?
    It's set around your flight, so give us your flight number and time when you book and we'll pass it on.

  • Can I add nights?
    Yes. Ask us and we'll add extra nights before the airport transfer.

  • Why stay on Denarau?
    The Palms is directly opposite Port Denarau, so there's almost no transfer after a long day on the boat. The apartments suit groups of up to three.

  • What's the cancellation policy?
    For Welcome and Departure Packs, there is no fee 31 or more days out, 50% from 15 to 30 days, and full charge at 14 days or less. For packages and island stays, the deposit is non-refundable 81 or more days out, the higher of 10% or the deposit applies from 46 to 80 days, and 100% applies at 45 days or less. Date changes up to 80 days out have no amendment fee. The operator can cancel vessel departures or vary itineraries for adverse conditions. Wanderlust handles the refund for you, refunds mirror the operator's terms 1:1 (including if the operator cancels) and we chase it on your behalf.

"Loved the place. So spacious and were super happy we were on the ground floor. Loved having washing machine and dryer. The gym was excellent which I used everyday. The pool was perfect."
