Overview

The first hours in Fiji are the messy ones: a late flight, a taxi queue, a bed to find, then an early boat to catch. This pack removes all of it. A rep meets you in the arrivals hall at Nadi International Airport (just past the information desk once you're through customs), checks your island bookings and puts you on a shared transfer to The Palms Denarau.

The Palms Denarau is on Denarau Island, directly opposite Port Denarau where the island boats leave. Apartment-style rooms on Denarau, the resort strip next to the marina. It suits groups and couples who want space, an apartment and the shortest possible walk to the ferry. Rooms on offer: Guest rooms with their own bathroom and air-con, plus one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments.

Next morning the coach collects you from the hotel and takes you to Port Denarau in time for your boat to the Mamanuca and Yasawa Islands. The pack is one night; extra nights can be added on request.

Itinerary at a glance

1 Day 1 · Nadi Airport to The Palms Denarau

Through customs, then look for the rep in the arrivals hall just past the information desk. They check your arrangements and put you on a shared transfer to The Palms Denarau. The rest of the day is pool, beach or bed.

2 Day 2 · Coach to Port Denarau

The coach collects you from the hotel and runs you to Port Denarau in time for your boat to the islands. Check in at the terminal at least 30 minutes before departure.

  • Why stay on Denarau?
    The Palms is directly opposite Port Denarau, where the island boats leave, so the morning run to your boat is as short as it gets. The apartments suit groups of up to three.

  • What's the cancellation policy?
    For Welcome and Departure Packs, there is no fee 31 or more days out, 50% from 15 to 30 days, and full charge at 14 days or less. For packages and island stays, the deposit is non-refundable 81 or more days out, the higher of 10% or the deposit applies from 46 to 80 days, and 100% applies at 45 days or less. Date changes up to 80 days out have no amendment fee. The operator can cancel vessel departures or vary itineraries for adverse conditions. Wanderlust handles the refund for you, refunds mirror the operator's terms 1:1 (including if the operator cancels) and we chase it on your behalf.

"Loved the place. So spacious and were super happy we were on the ground floor. Loved having washing machine and dryer. The gym was excellent which I used everyday. The pool was perfect."
