One practical note worth knowing upfront: the cancellation terms are firm, cancel within 21 days of departure and the full trip price is forfeited, so book when your dates are locked. Then turn up ready to sail properly.

1 Day 1 · Set sail from Airlie Beach
Check in at the marina and set sail on Avatar, the only trimaran in the Whitsundays, gliding across turquoise water. Help hoist the sails and feel the speed, or stretch out on the nets in the sun. Snorkel at spots such as Luncheon Bay, Caves Cove and Blue Pearl Bay, among coral gardens, giant clams, tropical fish and sea turtles. After dinner, underwater blue lights draw marine life to the hull while the Milky Way stretches overhead.
2 Day 2 · Whitehaven Beach and the reef
Wake at anchor, then head to Whitehaven Beach to walk on pure silica sand and hike up to Hill Inlet Lookout for the aerial view of the swirling sands. Snorkel more fringing reef sites chosen by the crew to suit the conditions, with meals and a second night aboard under the stars.
3 Day 3 · Back to Airlie Beach
One last breakfast onboard, then sail back past the islands and disembark at the marina, estimated between 8am and 9am (subject to weather, tides and tendering).
