Overview

Coral Bay Ecotours takes you out on its shallow-draft vessel Kurni-Ku to snorkel Ningaloo Reef and swim with manta rays, which the crew expect to find most days of the year, though sightings can't be guaranteed. You will also see hundreds of types of reef fish, reef sharks, turtles, giant clams and octopus.

Humpback whales, dolphins and dugongs may be seen from the boat in season, but you do not swim with them. The boat has a large upper deck, a shaded area, easy water access and a change room. Wetsuits and snorkel gear are supplied, with morning tea, lunch and afternoon snacks, and tea, coffee, Milo and cordial.

A basic swimming ability is needed to join in as an interaction swimmer, and the tour is recommended for experienced swimmers. Bring a towel, hat, sunscreen, swimsuit, water bottle and warm clothing.
