Overview

Prima runs small-group sailing trips around the Whitsundays, the kind where you know everyone's name by the first anchorage. Private and shared cabins, a skipper and a host on board, meals cooked for you, and Starlink wifi if you really must.

Day one departs the marina at 8:30 am and crosses the Whitsunday Passage to Tongue Bay on Whitsunday Island. A guided bushwalk takes you up to Hill Inlet Lookout for the view over Whitehaven Beach, then you've got a couple of hours to explore. In the afternoon you sail north to another island and anchor just before sunset, with dinner and drinks with the group to follow.

Day two starts early with breakfast and a snorkel over the fringing coral reefs, then morning tea and another stop for a swim, snorkel or beach, before setting sail back across the Passage to arrive at the marina at 4:00 pm. Meals, linen, bath towels, snorkel gear and filtered water are included; BYO alcohol (no glass, though wine bottles are fine). Dietary requirements attract a surcharge, and kosher and halal can't be catered for.
