Overview

This is the island hop with the meal plans already paid. You start and finish at Smugglers Cove in Nadi, with transfers from and back to the airport, and in between spend two nights each on three islands, with all meals on the islands included.

First comes South Sea Island, a tiny sand cay in the Mamanucas with a saltwater pool, a semi-submersible coral viewer and free non-motorised water sports. Next, the boat takes you into the Yasawas to Barefoot Kuata, the gateway island, with its marine protected reef and volcanic peaks. Last is Barefoot Manta, where mantas visit the channel from May to October.

It departs daily from Nadi. Breakfast is included at Smugglers Cove, but the two dinners and lunches there aren't, and drinks are extra throughout. Book a dorm bed, or a double per person when two of you travel together.

Airport transfer to Smugglers Cove on Wailoaloa Beach. Dinner tonight is on you.

Hotel pickup at about 8.40am for Port Denarau and the 10am boat to South Sea Island, in time for lunch. Two nights on a sand cay you can walk around in minutes: saltwater pool, semi-submersible, kayaks and snorkel gear.

4 Days 4 to 5 · Barefoot Kuata

The 9.15am boat north into the Yasawas, arriving at Barefoot Kuata mid-morning. Day five is yours: snorkel the protected reef, climb to the summit, or book the reef-shark snorkel.

6 Days 6 to 7 · Barefoot Manta

The 10.30am boat to Barefoot Manta, about an hour away. Day seven is your last full island day: dive, snorkel, or swim with mantas if they're in the channel (May to October, paid activity, not guaranteed).

The afternoon boat leaves the island at about 2.45pm and reaches Port Denarau in the early evening, then the coach to Smugglers Cove. Dinner is on you.
