Overview

Ocean Free is a 16-metre sailing schooner that leaves Cairns at 8am and returns at 5pm. The operator takes a maximum of 25 guests, with a crew to guest ratio of 1 to 6, although the boat is surveyed for 52.

The boat moors at an exclusive reef site where only its own guests snorkel, so you can step straight off the boat at any time. Guided snorkel tours are included. The day also includes time on Green Island, with a boardwalk and Marineland Melanesia, and you can help hoist the sails on the way.

Snorkel gear, tuition, morning tea, lunch and afternoon snacks are included. A reef levy of $20 per person is paid at check-in. You need to be mobile enough to move around a moving vessel and climb in and out of the water by a step ladder.
