Overview

End a Maggie day on the water. This two-hour cruise follows the coast from Nelly Bay to Cockle Bay, where the SS City of Adelaide came to rest on the island's shoreline.

The crew tell the wreck's story, and the stories of other wrecks along the way, while the sun goes down behind the island. Expect seabirds and that late-afternoon light Magnetic Island is known for.

It runs on selected dates and leaves from the boardwalk in front of Peppers Resort at Nelly Bay, a one-minute walk from the Sealink ferry terminal. Bring your own drinks and snacks, a camera, and a jumper from May to September.
