Overview

The day begins with the River Drift: an interpretive river walk upstream, then a float back down on river sleds through calm pools and faster currents, with a chance to spot turtles, water dragons and maybe a platypus.

After lunch comes a traditional Kuku Yalanji smoking ceremony at Mossman Gorge, including a cleansing and the application of traditional rainforest body paint, then a guided walk in Daintree National Park. Pick-up is from Port Douglas and Mossman, with a return around 4.30pm.

Boots, a wetsuit or rash top, safety equipment, lunch and snacks are included. All adults must be able to swim. Cairns and Northern Beaches transfers are not included.
