    No, there's a beach lesson before you launch and qualified ocean-lifeguard guides with you the whole way. It's beginner and family friendly (5 years and up).

  • Where do we meet, and what time?
    At Go Sea Kayak's Shed Number 1, on the park opposite 58 Lawson St, Byron Bay, 25 minutes before your tour. Tours run every day of the year; session times shift with the season and conditions, so pick your day and we confirm the time with you by email.

  • What's the cancellation policy?
    Changes and cancellations need at least 24 hours notice, sent in writing. Cancelling more than 24 hours before gives a 100% refund. Inside 24 hours, or for a no-show, there is no refund. If the operator cancels because of unsafe wind or swell, a 100% refund is given on direct bookings. Wanderlust handles the refund for you, refunds mirror the operator's terms 1:1 (including if the operator cancels) and we chase it on your behalf.
