Overview
As the surf school likes to say, it only takes one wave to change your life. The second lesson is how you make sure the first one wasn't a fluke, muscle memory needs repetition, and this two-lesson pack builds it while the feeling's still fresh.
Each morning works the same smart way: pickup from Byron Bay, then a call on conditions, Byron, Lennox Head or Ballina, wherever the learning waves are best that day. Professional instructors run the coaching with one goal, getting beginners standing quickly, and all equipment is supplied: board, wetsuit, rashie. Small groups (max six) mean real feedback instead of crowd control.
It runs October to April, ages 15 and up (14-and-unders need private lessons). By the end of lesson two, you're not someone who tried surfing, you're someone who surfs, at the beginning of a very expensive lifelong habit.

What's the cancellation policy?
Cancelling 31 or more days before departure carries a 25% fee on the package. Within 30 days there is no refund. Date changes cost $55 AUD up to 7 days before the start, or $75 AUD within 24 hours of the start. The operator may postpone or cancel for natural disasters such as bushfires or floods, with no refund. Wanderlust handles the refund for you, refunds mirror the operator's terms 1:1 (including if the operator cancels) and we chase it on your behalf.
