Julian Rocks sits off Australia's most easterly point, where warm tropical and cooler temperate waters meet. Turtles, manta and eagle rays, leopard sharks, grey nurse sharks, dolphins and whales all turn up here, and the shallow protected water suits snorkellers and freedivers.
The boat leaves from Brunswick Heads and runs along the Byron coastline, often with dolphins on the way, and humpback whales are a daily sight from June to November. A marine biologist guides you to the best spots. Mask, fins and wetsuit are provided. Complete the liability waiver before you arrive.

"We had an amazing morning at Julian Rocks! So many fish, a couple of sharks, and the highlight — a loggerhead turtle casually sitting on some of the sharks"
Ellen
